The Five elements of Energy
Feng Shui uses the five elements of Chinese traditional system. They are FIRE, EARTH, METAL, WATER and WOOD. This is the cyclic procedure of Feng Shui. In the cycle of production each element helps and nurtures the element on either side of it. For instance wood burns, creating fire. Fire gives ash, which create Earth. From the Earth we get Metal. Metal liquefies water and Water nurtures and produces wood.

The Principles of Your Successful Living
By using the principles of Feng Shui, we will get harmony with the world. We can make adjustments to different parts of our home to bring more Success, Happiness, and Prosperity into our lives.

The Front Door
This is main entrance of your home. This should be well-lit and appear welcoming. When we stand at the front door, we should be able to see the entire hall. So your entrance should be well-lit and help ch'i enter from your front door. Dark, gloomy entrances discourage the ch'i. (Anything which is beautiful in the nature creates CH'I).

The Living Room
This is a room where the people can relax and enjoy spending more time with the other people. This room reflects the personalities and ideas of the people. This room has to receive more and more sunlight and wind flow. Avoid crowding, too much furniture and more and more shelves in it. The open shelves and little space leads to abundance and controls the monetary gains.

The Bed Room
Good Feng Shui in the bed room is very important for peaceful mind with Happy life. After the living room, we spends our lives in bed room. This room will be private and personal, should be as far away from the front door. The placement of the bed is the important point in the concept of Feng Shui. So your bed should be placed near the corner of the room that is diagonally cross from the door. The bed should always in a position to where the people sleeping in will get a pleasant view, when they wake up in the morning.

The Kitchen
The Kitchen, the stove which deals with the fire that represents family's wealth. So keep the stove far away to the sink. Kitchen should not be visible from the front door and the kitchen that faces the toilet causes bad health and loss of prosperity luck.

The Bath Room
The toilet should not be visible from the front door. The bathrooms should be positioned on the side of the house, because bathrooms create negative ch'i, and a centrally situated toilet will send this negative ch'i to every part of the house.

Uses of Feng Shui
We can select an appropriate site for construction of a building.
To create and balance prosperity between the family members.
To select the best place within a house to place furniture at appropriate directions in a house.
To select appropriate rooms for all the family members as per their fortunate directions.
To select an attractive and appropriate color for your house for permanent maintenance (durability) to create harmony between the couple and to improve the knowledge, health and wealth.
